A Time for Giving

Over the coming weeks many families will spend countless hours at thier child's hospital bedside after the diagnosis of a brain or spinal cord tumour. Some have already been there for months and others have only arrived today and sadly they keep arriving as cancer does not care that it is Christmas. These families are shellshocked, horrified, traumatised and desperate and their only wish for Christmas is to see their children healthy again.

During this time everything else is pushed aside, yet day to day life goes on around them.  As much as we would all like to ignore them, bills continue to mount up when your child is ill and wages are often lost. This Christmas and New Year period Brainchild are expecting an influx of calls for support from families around Australia, and we will do everything in our power to make their Christmas's a little less stressful by taking care of the boring stuff and allowing families to concentrate on making happy memories with their children.

If you would like to make a real difference this Christmas season, please consider making a donation to Brainchild Foundation to assist us in our quest to support families touched by childhood brain and spinal cord tumours. All donations are tax deductable and we truly value your support. To make a donation please visit this link and follow the prompts :
