Every year in Australia, approximately 200 children are diagnosed with a brain tumour. Despite all of the advances of modern medicine, many of these children will die from their disease within 5 years of diagnosis. Even for those who recover, the long term effects of the tumour and its treatment can be significant, affecting the physical, intellectual and social development of the child.

The Brainchild Foundation are raising funds to support the children suffering from these conditions and provide help and education where their families need it the most. Research into the causes of this disease is paramount to the continuous improvement of treatments. It is our mission to provide a platform for such funds to be raised.

There are a number of options when considering a donation to the Brainchild Foundation:

  1. Secure one off donation to the Brainchild foundation.
  2. A monthly or regular donation. This provides reliable, long term income, which will help us to plan future research programmes and scholarships.
  3. Create a personalised fundraising page for your event to share with family and friends by clicking on ‘Fundraise for this cause’.

A donation can also be made to the Foundation in lieu of a gift, or in the memory of a loved one.

Donations of $2.00 or more are tax deductible in Australia, provided they are made voluntarily and the donor receives no material benefit for the donation. The Foundation provides its donors with official receipts for taxation purposes
