This site provides comprehensive information regarding brain tumours and related treatments, including a variety of publications.  It also has information specific to childhood brain tumours and an interactive kids’ section (abta kids) with appropriately targeted information and support.


Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group, www.cclg.org.uk

The Children’s Cancer & Leukaemia Group is the only UK charity dedicated to supporting research and those looking after children and teenagers with cancer. This site has useful and free resources relating to diseases, treatments, and discharge education.


CureSearch, www.curesearch.org

CureSearch unites the world’s largest childhood cancer research organisation, the Children’s Oncology Group, and the National Childhood Cancer Foundation through their mission to cure childhood cancer.  The CureSearch website provides Information about types of childhood cancer and its treatments for patients and families.

This in an American website which provides information on the different types of cancer, clinical trials, cancer statistics, and other cancer related topics such as prevention, screening, and coping.  It has patient and health professional levels of information, along with information regarding childhood cancer and adolescents and young adults with cancer.


St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org

St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis is internationally recognised for its pioneering research and treatment of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Ranked one of the best paediatric cancer hospitals in the country, St. Jude is the first and only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centre devoted solely to children. This site provides information about cancer types, treatments, and medications.
