For larger Organisations a mufti/casual day is an easy and relaxed way of raising funds for charity. Each person who participates donates a gold coin or if you could ask them each for a $5.00 donation if you are feel it is appropriate. Dress up/fancy dress days are also a fun way to raise funds and morale in the workplace. Pick a theme once a quarter and give prizes for the best dressed, you will be surprised how many people will get into the spirit of this when they know the money is going to a good cause.
The old favourite ‘sausage sizzle’ is another easy way to raise funds in the office/workplace. Many butchers are willing to donate sausages for charity sausage sizzles so approach your local butcher before you go out and buy them. Community sausage sizzles like those held at local hardware shops etc are also very good ways to raise funds.
