Corporate sponsorship and assistance are essential for the Brainchild Foundation to provide the support needed by families affected by brain and spinal cord tumours.
See below for tips on how your business and workplace can get involved and help raise much needed funds.
Workplace Giving
Workplace Giving is a program that allows employees to donate money on a regular basis to one or more charities of their choice. The charity must be a deductible gift recipient (DGR) which means that donations to the charity are gift deductible for taxation purposes. Any Employer with one or more employees may start a Workplace Giving Program.
Pro bono services
Pro bono services are a fabulous and generous way to assist the Brainchild Foundation. You may be in a position to offer your services, products, expertise or advice free of charge, thus, saving us valuable fundraising dollars. If you think you can help in any way, please let us know.
We always welcome the donation of prizes for our fundraising events.
Event Sponsorship
Throughout the year, the Brainchild Foundation will be holding a number of events for both fundraising and awareness purposes. Corporate sponsorship is essential at these events, whether it is with a cash donation or the donation of goods and services. All major sponsors will be acknowledged at these events and on our website. If you are interested in providing sponsorship to The Brainchild Foundation please contact us.
Mufti Days
For larger organisations a mufti or casual day is an easy and relaxed way of raising funds for charity. Each person who participates donates a gold coin or if you could ask them each for a $5.00 donation if you are feel it is appropriate.
Dress up/fancy dress days are also a fun way to raise funds and morale in the workplace. Pick a theme once a quarter and give prizes for the best dressed, you will be surprised how many people will get into the spirit of this when they know the money is going to a good cause.
Sausage Sizzles
The old favourite sausage sizzle is another easy way to raise funds in the office/workplace. Many butchers are willing to donate sausages for charity sausage sizzles so approach your local butcher before you go out and buy them. Community sausage sizzles like those held at local hardware shops etc. are also very good ways to raise funds.
Hold a Fundraiser or attend one of ours
Organise a table of guests to attend the annual Brainchild Ball or another of our fundraising events or arrange a team to participate in Jimmy’s 22 Million Steps. Hold your own event to raise funds for children with brain and spinal cord tumours.
